If you’re wondering when high season arrives in the Riviera Nayarit, look no further than Sunday, November 2nd when the Mercado Huanacaxtle Sunday Market starts back up for their 5th season (from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm) at the Mercado del Mar of the Marina Riviera Nayarit.
Our local Sunday Market is the definitive artisanal, food & craft market in the region both in terms of participants, visitors and locale.
Founders Myra Franco, Pia Aubert and Jason Foster Barnes are to be commended for what is far and away the biggest draw to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
This year will feature many returning as well as new vendors and artisans and we are already drooling in anticipation of our favorite food purveyors.
