Hola to all my fishing buddies! Here is my Puerto Vallarta fishing report.
The last 3 weeks, mahi-mahi on our 8 hour charters have just gone mad with our boats bringing in on an average 8 to 12 mahi-mahi in the 15lb to 20lb range and in our 10 hour charters yellow fin tuna and marlin.
This past week on one of our 10 hour charters with captain Hector, luck was on our side as he hooked on to a 225lb Tuna at the fishing grounds of La Corbeteña. He used a live 5lb Bonita as bait and the fight lasted a good 1hr 45 min using a Penn International 50 with 40lb test line.
During the day they also landed some mahi-mahi and various other types of smaller game fish.
The water temperature is a very warm 86°f and the current is just right for big game fishing. So come down and enjoy some great fishing as we are starting to get busy for this season.
