PV Girls Shelter Fundraiser for School Expenses Team Angels - PVAngels

We are raising money to provide needed school fees for Corazon de Nina home for abandoned, abused and neglected girls ages 5-24 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

It is necessary for these wonderful girls to attend a school where there is security, as well as a high level of education. These young ladies have been removed from their homes or from the streets due to high risk situations. They now live in a family home with 25 other girls...under the direction of Canadian Melissa Canez, and they attend school, church and are involved in a number of activities, achieving amazing grades... breaking the cycle of child abuse.

This is the only home of its kind in Puerto Vallarta, as the local orphanages only take care of children under 12 years of age.

We are so proud of our girls and their success in school and in their lives. A few of the girls have special needs as their history has left them with emotional, physical and psychological scars which require counseling and therapy.

The girls take on all chores in the home, and work as a team to accomplish amazing things! Please help us to insure that their education is supported!

There will be a brunch fundraiser for Corazon de Nina on Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 am. Donation tickets are 200 pesos per person and you can get advance tickets at Corazon de Nina or at Carol's Boutique in Old Town Vallarta on Basilio Badillo (corner Vallarta Street), or you may purchase tickets at the door.
