Who's Poisoning the Cats on the Isla Cuale?

We're not pointing any fingers, but somebody is putting out poison to kill the cats on the Isla Cuale, also known as the River Walk, that separates Downtown and Old Town Vallarta.

Several cats and a Tlacuache, the possum like animal, have been found dead by the volunteers that feed these cats on a daily basis. The volunteers also rescue abandoned kittens left in the area and seek foster and adoption homes.

It is almost impossible to prove who is doing this, but if we all share the news on the internet and ask everybody to keep an eye out (or a camera), we can determine who is responsible and confront that person or persons, and let it be known that our community does not accept this.

Another great source of information would be the vendors in the stores along the River Walk since they are there daily and talk among themselves.

Please pass this on to all your friends.
