Merely 18 years old, Karen Jacobson is already making a name for herself rising through the ranks in the world of Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Surf.
The Puerto Vallarta Board of Tourism sponsors and supports the professional surfer during the World Cup circuit in Hawaii and California. The young athlete represents Puerto Vallarta and our country in a series of international tournaments attended solely by the best in world rankings.
Born and raised in Puerto Vallarta, Karen began her career in the world of surf at age 13 and soon conquered the highest ranks in Stand Up Paddle Surf, the current National Champion is said sport and within the top ten SUP Surfers worldwide. Karen Jacobson continuously pushes herself in order to attain the best rankings in the sport on an international scale.
The professional athlete is participating in a circuit during the next 3 months that include the Standup World Tour, U.S. SUP Tour, Battle of the Paddle and localized SUP race tournaments.
Without a doubt, a proud Puerto Vallarta pro we should follow in international competitions as we support this newest discipline in the world of surf.
