Gurlesque II Fundraiser at The Palm Paco Arjona - SETAC-GLBT

The Palm Cabaret and Bar is proud to announce an evening of fun with the Gurlesque II production on Saturday, April 7.
 

The production is a benefit fundraiser for SETAC-GLBT of Puerto Vallarta. The PV GLBT Community Center provides AA meetings, English classes, movies, free condoms, HIV testing & counseling, education and recreation in an atmosphere of safety, free from discrimination.

With the cast of stars including Kim Kuzman, Miss Conception and Joanna!, you are guaranteed great entertainment and laughs, while supporting a great cause.

Kim Kuzma's extensive vocal range and sassy stage presence have earned her a reputation as a dynamic performer. Her casual, often candid, conversations with her audience have earned her a loyal and rapidly growing following of fans. Kuzma has performed across Canada, throughout the United States, South America and in Europe. She has shared the stage of the Palace of Fine Arts and The Castro Theatre with the renowned San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus and opened for legendary singer Harry Belafonte in the wine country. Mister Marcus, a reporter and critic from the Bay Area calls Kim Kuzma, "An absolute hit with the audience", and encouraged his readers to, "Keep an eye on this name!"

Miss Conception's audiences rave about his live singing and character portrayals and, in what is probably the biggest compliment of all, those who know Kevin can't say enough about what a great guy he is. Puerto Vallarta is fortunate to have the amazing Miss Conception here. When Kevin Levesque performed his first Broadway-style number at the age of 13 in his parent's living room, he knew he had found his calling. He was an instant hit among his family and after studying drama, music and dance for years, then creating his "drag" persona "Miss Conception" (friends dared him to do it) and he shocked them all by singing live.

Joanna! has been described as "the gal with a gazillion voices." Joanna!, aka Joe, a seven-year veteran of the Vallarta entertainment scene, brings his always popular comedic character impressions to the stage. "Beyond Impressions, Parody, and Burlesque" is quoted about Joanna! in the Florida Sun-Sentinel and the New York Times describes him as "One of the Best".
