TAR Introduces New Flight Connecting Vallarta-Nayarit to Aguascalientes Team Angels/Eduardo Garcia Gomez - Vallarta Opina

Transportes Aereos Regionales (TAR) introduces their new aerial connection to Puerto Vallarta from the “Jesús Terán Peredo” International Airport.
 
According to the General Manager of Puerto Vallarta's International Airport, Francisco Villaseñor Reyes, the initial flight was postponed for one week but was rescheduled to begin operations yesterday.

The new route offers four flights per week on the Embraer ER/145 which holds 50 passengers.

The opening of this route strengthens the increased air connectivity and offers a new option for the exchange of tourists and visitors from one of the top holiday destinations for sun and sand of Mexico.
 
During the first quarter of 2014, domestic passenger traffic increased by 25.2%, hence the importance of addressing and meeting the needs of domestic tourism which constitutes the bulk of tourism in our country.

The flight from Aguascalientes to Puerto Vallarta will operate Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays departing at 9:10 am and arriving at 10:30 am.
 
The Puerto Vallarta to Aguascalientes route will depart on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1:10 pm and arrive at 2:40 pm.

Cost of the basic flight is reported to be 1,485 pesos per passenger including taxes.

It was recently announced that the Aeropuerto Internacional de Toluca (AIT) will offer destinations such as Monterrey, Acapulco, San Luis Potosi, Oaxaca, Huatulco and Veracruz.

It should be noted that TAR began operating direct flights between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta earlier this year.
