6.2 Magnitude Earthquake Off the Coast of Puerto Vallarta Team Angels - PVAngels

This morning at 6:53 am local time (11h53 GMT), an earthquake of 6.2 magnitude was recorded 295 kilometers (184 miles) southwest of the Mexican coastal city of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, in the Pacific Ocean. Depth was 10 km.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (SDGS), the agency initially evaluated the magnitude as 6.6 and the National Simologico Service (SNN) reported 5.8 on the Richter Scale.

As of now, there are no reports of damage, injuries or tsunami warnings from the quake.

Initial "I Felt It" reports include:

• Vallarta. Nayarit / MMI II (Very weak shaking): Heard a fairly loud pop from the ceiling which woke me up then saw the blinds swaying a little.
