'We are Proud,' Alejandra Bogue, Two Men's Choirs Heat Up Vallarta Pride Vallarta Pride

PUERTO VALLARTA, Jalisco - The Grand Marshall of the Vallarta Pride Parade 2014, Alejandra Bogue, did not disappoint during her show last night at Casa Cupula and left the crowd with high expectations for the weekend’s coming events.

Alejandra Bogue, well known to the national community for her role in "Las Hermanas Vampiros" was responsible for heating up Vallarta Pride with an exclusive party at Casa Cupula, the luxurious boutique hotel for gays, lesbians and friends in a torchlight tropical poolside setting.

During the event, there were 3 bars, 3 food stations, a special guest DJ and a raffle for a free weekend at Casa Cupula in the Romantic Zone. Alejandra Bogue also confirmed that she will be signing autographs and taking photos at the Party in Lazaro Cardenas Park after the Pride Parade on Saturday.

Earlier in the evening were other successful events of the night included the screening of the documentary "We are Proud" a 30-minute film that captures the LGBT history of our destination directed by Brian Barnard with the support of Gay Guide Vallarta, at Encore Piano and Wine Bar.

Also at the Stages, the newly opened entertainment complex, was the Puerto Vallarta Men’s Choir with special guest, the internationally famous Reveille Men’s Choir of Tucson, Arizona.

New this year for Pride was the acceptance Candlelight March from ACT II Stages to Los Muertos Pier, where the group was welcomed by Rudy Loredo playing on his piano as the sunset set. What better way to end the day surrounded by the love of the community.

The Vallarta Pride Steering Committee was pleased by the exciting performances by "all these talents that have come to put an artistic and cultural touch to our great gay pride festival in Puerto Vallarta."
