Mother's Day in Mexico is celebrated each year on May 10 and in the US and Canada this year on May 11. Following are some options for celebrating Mom in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit.

La Palapa celebrates Mother's Day this weekend with two special menus.
A decadent breakfast at the edge of the ocean and an unforgettable 3 course dinner will be available this Saturday May 10th and Sunday May 11th.
Our Breakfast special consists of Orange Juice or Fruit Plate; coffee or tea; sweet roll; shrimp omelet or banana pancakes topped with Nutella. Plus, a special gift from our pastry chef for Mom.
Breakfast is 165 pesos which includes taxes but not the gratuity.
The Dinner menu begins with Marinated Shrimp and Octopus over a bed of corn, arugula and spinach salad, mango radish and chipotle aioli - or - Citrics and Berries Salad, raspberry vinaigrette,
caramelized cashews, goat cheese and crispy bacon.
Entree is a choice of:
• Chicken Breast with citric and rosemary sauce, cous cous stack, baby vegetables
- OR -
• Salmon Encrusted with Cilantro and Mustard seeds, potato and apple crumble
- OR -
• Beef Tenderloin over a bed of cambray potatoes, mushroom sauce and rajas poblanas
Dessert will be a Chocolate Trilogy, white chocolate mousse, semi-dark and dark. Plus, a special gift for Mom from our pastry chef.
