Raintree Resorts International is joining the international community in celebrating Earth Hour for the fourth consecutive year.
This year’s Earth Hour will occur at 8:30 pm local time on March 29, when Raintree Resorts across Mexico and the United States will turn off all non-essential lights for one hour. Some of Raintree’s resorts in Mexico will also have special events to mark the occasion.
For one evening in March, millions of people around the world come together to celebrate Earth Hour, an annual event that promotes environmental sustainability and awareness.
Earth Hour, organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature, encourages individuals, businesses, communities, and local and national governments to turn off all non-essential lights for one hour in the evening.
Not only does this show support for a clean environment, but it also dramatically reduces the amount of pollution that results from the production of energy for that hour.
Raintree Vacation Club is proud to join the international community in celebrating Earth Hour for the fourth year. Some of our resorts will have special events to celebrate Mother Earth in style. Make sure to check with the front desk of your resort to ask about hours and reservations.
Raintree’s Club Regina Los Cabos, Club Regina Puerto Vallarta, and Club Regina Cancun will offer guests contests, shows, and a special Earth Hour buffet stocked with delicious food. Villa Vera Puerto Mio Zihuatanejo will also have a special three-course Earth Hour menu.
If you’re not staying at any of our resorts, we still invite you to join us and millions of people around the world in celebrating Earth Hour.
