In order to contribute to the image of Puerto Vallarta, the Municipal Institute for the Care of Youth (el Instituto Municipal de Atención a la Juventud), directed by Oscar Daniel Zamora, and the Hotel Association invites young people and families to join the 'Clean Vallarta' campaign, which be held on March 28 beginning at 8:00 am.

This program seeks to raise awareness and involve youth and adolescents in the cleaning and preservation of public spaces and encourage a healthy coexistence with the environment.

'Clean Vallarta' aims to bring together dozens of workers to clean the beaches and tourist center, as well as strengthening the interaction between young people, authorities and entrepreneurs, in a scheme of social participation that facilitates inclusion, respect for the common environment and public spaces and to add more people acting to benefit the city.

The hoteliers association will be responsible for providing the tools and food for the cleanup.

Municipal Youth Care will coordinate the efforts of citizens and visitors to keep the beaches clean by placing trash in designated containers and participate in this cleanup campaign, which will take place four times a year and will be extended to all the population.

The invitation is open to teens, youth and families that appreciate the need of having a 'Clean Vallarta.'
