'Brilliant Landscapes' Exhibit by Steven King Opening at Galeria Vallarta Barbara Peters - Galeria Vallarta

Steven King, one of Puerto Vallarta’s favorite artists, is presenting “Brilliant Landscapes” on Wednesday, March 19th, at Galeria Vallarta.

Steven King has been showing his beautiful impressionist paintings in Galeria Vallarta for more than 15 years, working in oils and acrylics of local scenes and landscapes around Puerto Vallarta and different parts of Mexico.

Steven travels a lot and has homes in La Paz, Mexico and Bend, Oregon, but always returns to his beloved Puerto Vallarta often to paint the street scenes, seascapes, the tropical foliage, and enjoy our paradise.
 
He is a master of portraying the beautiful scenery of Mexico in his own impressionistic style in acrylics and oils, with unusual combinations of bright colors that add drama to the scene. His glorious palm forests and boats in harbor are favorites. He loves to paint scenes in small Mexican towns such as Boca de Tomatlan, Sayulita, Lo de Marcos and on the coast of Baja.
 
Steven was born in Los Angeles, CA, and was introduced to the practice of art at an early age by his father who was a syndicated cartoonist. He studied painting, ceramics and wood and bronze sculpting using the lost wax process.

Galeria Vallarta is located in Downtown Vallarta at 187 Guerrero (upstairs).

Don’t miss the cocktail opening of his show on Wednesday, March 19, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, at Galería Vallarta where you can meet the artist. The show will continue through March.
