El Rio BBQ Bar and Pasitos de Luz are announcing the 3rd annual RiverFest to benefit the special needs children of Puerto Vallarta.
This festival event will take place on Saturday, March 8, from 12:00 – 7:00 pm at the El Rio BBQ Bar & Restaurant in Colonia Paso Ancho.
The scheduled music line-up for 2014 is:
12:00 - Arturo
1:00 - Eulogio de La Cruz
2:00 - Mariachi Vallarta 80
3:00 - Kim Kuzma
4:00 - Chris Kenny Band
5:00 - Texas Embassy Blues Band
6:00 - Los Bambinos
On site will be a number of exhibits, artists and crafts persons offering items for sale to further benefit Pasitos de Luz.
The Donation/Regular Ticket is 50 pesos plus the cost of refreshments.
We are encouraging Pasitos supporters to buy Patron Tickets for 500 pesos each. This ticket supporting Pasitos entitles you to gate entry, a wonderful buffet provided by Barcelona Tapas (from 3:00 to 5:00 pm), priority VIP seating and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day. It is a great way to extend your support to Pasitos de Luz and join in the fun.
If you would like to buy one or more Patron Tickets, please get in touch with Barb Bremner or by telephone at (322) 223-0916, providing your name, contact number and ticket requirement. We will then arrange the easiest way to deliver the ticket(s) to you. We even hand deliver! Now that's what I call service.
El Rio BBQ is located along the Rio Cuale in Paso Ancho, less than ten minutes from the Libramiento. Bus route #4 to P.A. (Paso Ancho) or Paso de Guayabo drops you right at the gate. Ask the driver if he’s heading to Paso Ancho if you have any doubt. Taxis from Olas Altas or El Centro currently cost 50 pesos to El Rio BBQ. Click here to see the map.
