The show will be synchronized with bright musical notes and will last just over 20 minutes

Los Arcos on the Puerto Vallarta Malecon will be the perfect stage for thousands of tourists and Vallartenses to welcome 2014 through the fireworks display, which in sync with cheerful musical pieces, will light up the sky over the bay for 20 minutes.

Gerard Carlos Guzman, Director of Municipal Tourism, said that the fireworks show will start around 11:50 pm on December 31 to the delight of local citizens and foreign visitors, which has become a tradition on the Malecon in celebrating and welcoming the new year.

"It's an event for all tourists, but also for the locals of Vallarta. Everybody is invited to join in the bringing in of the new year with a musical and firewords display filling the sky with multicolored forms," said the official.

Carlos Gerard Guzman also invites visitors in Puerto Vallarta to extend your vacation until the 8th of January, at which time we have  prepared a big celebration for the anniversary of the Los Muertos pier, which will be a great popular festival with music and good atmosphere for attendees.

He also noted that in this last week of 2013, many hotels have recorded an occupancy of one hundred percent, which determines a great end of the year in terms of tourism and also appears very optimistic for the beginning of 2014 throughout the season.

He said that since the Los Muertos Pier has been transformed into the latest tourist icon of the city, they have prepared a program of anniversary celebrations to become a tradition for our tourists and locals.
