In association with World Day to Combat AIDS, the Municipal Committee for the Prevention of HIV / AIDS in Puerto Vallarta, (COMUSIDA), is presenting an exhibition of 24 graphics alluding to the prevention of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which is being held in the inner corridors of City Hall.
Fernando Martinez, Coordinator COMUSIDA, reported that this exposition is titled 'Path of Prevention' and is particularly aimed at young people, and are now available for viewing.
"These are graphics that emphasize the young and with a language and images according to the age of the young people who we believe will take away more knowledge about prevention," stated Martinez.
He added that in this period, he believes that surveys of people who come to the shows between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm "will realize the impact that they have in this campaign and in turn identify that the huge amount of information has made our citizens more informed about HIV risk practices."
On December 2nd at 6:00 pm at the Malecon arches, the blankets and posters alluding to HIV, created by the middle and high school youths of the community, will be judged. If you would like to participate in this competition, show up an hour early to register. There will be prizes for first, second and third place, and a lot of recognition for all.
