Clean out your casa for the Grand Bazaar at the Library.
Biblioteca Los Mangos, our Puerto Vallarta Public Library, is struggling to keep their doors open and continue to supply our citizens and tourists with a cultural center. Here are some suggestions of how you can help.
Grand Bazaar on Saturday, November 23
• Reserving a table to sell your own items for only 200 pesos
• Donating to the library items in very good condition that we can sell
• Stopping by to purchase
• Sharing this info with your friends and neighbors
Join us at the Library from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Deja New Fashions for Charity
Drop off your quality gently used clothing at the Deja New Consignment booth on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, during the Farmer's Market at Paradise Community Center.
Please tell them that your donations are to be credited to the Biblioteca Los Mangos account.
Paradise Community Center is located in Old Town Vallarta at Pulpito 127.
Malecon Bronze Sculptures Walking Tour
Spend a pleasant morning walking Puerto Vallarta’s New Malecon while learning about the many bronze sculptures located along the waterfront.
The tour is free, but donations are gratefully accepted for the benefit of Los Mangos Public Library.
Meet on Tuesday mornings, 9:30 am, at the Millennium sculpture next to the Rosita Hotel at the north end of the Malecon.
Colors on Canvas Fundraiser for Library
Colors on Canvas PV is having our 2nd Art Exhibition at the Biblioteca Los Mangos (Puerto Vallarta Public Library) on November 29 - December 1, 2013.
Colors on Canvas presents original acrylic and oil paintings by artists painting and living in Puerto Vallarta.
A percentage of all sales will be donated to the Library, so come and see our new works, visit with friends and buy some wonderful art to help support our Library. You can even "charge it" with your credit card.
Exhibition hours are as follows:
• Friday, November 29, 6:00 - 9:00 pm
• Saturday, November 30, 2:00 - 5:00 pm
• Sunday, December 1, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
We hope to see all of our old friends there and to make many new friends.
