The Old Town Farmers Market - Tianguis Cultural, a "producer only" market is one of Puerto Vallarta's most compelling weekend attractions.

Beginning on November 2, 2013, the Market will be open from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm. This year, the closing day will be May 31.

Visit us for a great selection of locally grown farm fresh produce, artisan foods, handmade crafts, art, jewelry, clothing, community education and live music. All products are made, baked, grown and sold by Vendors living within 50 kilometers of Puerto Vallarta.

The popular Old Town Farmers Market is located in Lazaro Cardinas Park by Los Muertos Beach between Olas Altas, Pino Suarez, Lazaro Cardenas and Carranza.

Music is definitely a part of life in Mexico and particularly in Jalisco the birthplace of Mariachi music. On any given week you can find well established and celebrated performers or new and emerging artists. Whatever the week it will be sure to add pleasure to your visit to the market. Be sure to support the performers by putting a few dollars in their hat or purchasing their CDs.

The Old Town Farmers Market is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Market visitors are encouraged to use the public washrooms located across from Daquari Dicks one block to the west of the Market on V. Carranza. On site washrooms are limited and not wheelchair accessible.

We all love our four-legged companions and know that for many, a walk with the whole family – canines included – makes for a perfect Market day. However, we do require that for the comfort and safety of everyone, that all dogs – big and small – be on a leash at all times. If your dog inadvertently licks or devours one of the Vendors yummy products you are responsible for paying for it.
