Riviera Nayarit Alliance Promotion for Upcoming Half Marathon CVB of Riviera Nayarit

The Riviera Nayarit Half Marathon will be widely publicized on a national and international level thanks to the organizers signing a collaborative agreement last August with 11 other races in order to co-advertise, cross promote and exchange knowledge, experience and information.   
 
As part of this agreement the race will be advertised in Mexico City, Monterrey, Culiacán, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes and León, among many other cities. The idea is to increase the number of participants each year that visit this destination and participate in the race. This year the race will take place on November 23rd beginning at 7:00 am.
 
Since the creation of the Riviera Nayarit brand five years ago, one of the industry’s priorities has been to attract high-quality tourism that poses a low environmental impact. Beyond simple marketing, however, this is also a strategy to achieve a comprehensive development of the community, one that will boost both economic indicators and the welfare of the society as a whole. High-impact performance sports are a key niche to achieve this goal.
 
The forward momentum achieved by the Riviera Nayarit through activities such as the Touristic Half Marathon, promoted by the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), serves not only to attract tourists, but it also gives the destination exposure in media that specializes in covering these types of events.
 
An invitation has been sent out to all the runners in Mexico and across the world to participate in this Fourth Edition of the Riviera Nayarit Touristic Half Marathon, endorsed by the Mexican Athletic Federation and the Nayarit State Athletic Association, and recognized by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).

The race will take place on November 23, 2013, along one of the most beautiful routes in the world.

Trophies and bonus prizes will be awarded for the first three places in each branch and category. Entry is open to all age groups 18 years and older. Entry fee is 450 pesos.
 
It’s easy to participate in the Riviera Nayarit Touristic Half Marathon, whether it’s for the 21K or the 10K. Registration is now available online at Del Corredor or Half Marathon Riviera Nayarit.
