Puerto Vallarta will become a skateboard enthusiast's dream on Saturday, October 12, with three disciplines of longboarding competition and exhibitions.
This Guero Baikas all-day event, being promoted by BuyPuertoVallarta, will kick off in the colony of Ramblases at 9:00 am with the Free Ride, followed by the Push Race on the Malecon beginning at 12:00 noon and the finale of Free Style to finish up the competitions in Old Town Vallarta, Lazaro Cardenas Plaza, starting at 3:00 pm.
Competition is open to male and female skateboarders in beginning and advanced categories. Entry fee is 70 pesos.
This special event is being promoted to support our local youth.
Following the announcement of the winners, enjoy Reggae, Rock and Rap for this excitement-filled day of over 30 activities.
Cheer on your favorites and support our youth in giving them the opportunity to continue their program of "extreme sports." Spectators are encouraged to attend free and the event is open to the general public and tourists.
