Travel Weekly Sales Contest for the Promotion of Vallarta-Nayarit CVB of Riviera Nayarit

The joint promotional efforts by Mexico’s Tourism Board, Puerto Vallarta Conventions and Visitors Bureau, and Riviera Nayarit Conventions and Visitors Bureau (CVB), continue with the ongoing campaign “Vallarta-Nayarit, Live It To Believe It.”

This time it was an original contest called “Riviera Nayarit & Puerto Vallarta Mexico Rewards” that was launched by Travel Weekly and the website Mexico Travel Rewards. The contest was directed towards travel agents selling our destination.

The winner of the contest was Lori French, from the agency Lori French Travel Services based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lori became the travel agent with most trips sold to the Vallarta-Nayarit region, an achievement that earned her 2 round trip tickets to Riviera Nayarit by American Airlines, and one 7-night stay certificate for two people at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Resort.

Upon arrival, Lori was welcomed with VIP treatment at the Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport, which meant an Express Exit by the VIP room of the airport, and transfer by the Chief of Concierge of Grand Velas.

An even warmer welcome was awaiting her at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit where Liliana De Leon, Grand Velas Tour & Travel Manager, and Richard Zarkin, Riviera Nayarit CVB PR Manager, received Lori with Mariachi and the traditional Mexican song “El Son de la Negra.”

An ecstatic and overwhelmed Lori said that “this is more than I ever expected.”
