Whale watching in Puerto Vallarta with Ocean Friendly Tours (10TVMan)
PUERTO VALLARTA - Ocean Friendly Tours has designed a roster of new responsible whale watching and photography workshops tours for the upcoming whale watching season in Puerto Vallarta (Banderas Bay), Mexico.
Newly Designed, Responsible Whale Watching & Photography Tour Workshops
Ocean Friendly Tours announces a new line up of nature inspired tours in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The roster of new responsible whale watching and photography workshop tours for the annual whale watching season (from December 8th through March 23rd) was designed by a team of marine scientists, naturalists and professional photographers. Ocean Friendly's new whale watching tours include four different types of specialized whale watching, research and photography tours:
1. Respectful Whale Watching & Research Tours – This 4.5 hour Humpback whale watching tour focuses guests on observing and interacting with whales and dolphins in Banderas Bay through an educational approach. Guests also act as part of the research team as Humpback whales are located and the animals are documented for the Humpback Whale Fluke Identification Catalog of Banderas Bay in Puerto Vallarta.
2. Whale Watching & Photography Workshop – This 4.5 hour tour is similar to the whale watching research tour but it focuses on learning how to best photograph and document whales and dolphins by observing and predicting their natural behaviors. This photography workshop begins on land and continues on the open water for the rest of the tour.
3. Oceanographical Whale & Bird Watching Photography Tour – This 5.5 hour tour combines the features of the whale watching research tour with a full description of the oceanographical features of Banderas Bay that correlate with the Sea of Cortez. Guests visit the area around Marietas Islands to describe the geological setting and observe exotic bird species such as the Blue Footed booby birds, Frigate birds, Sterns, Cormorants and more. Guests will enjoy great opportunities to photograph outstanding seascapes and a diversity of open water species such as Humpback whales, Bryde's whales, and a variety of dolphins, mantas, sea turtles and marine birds on this tour.
4. Private Whale Watching Tours – This private charter tour includes all the features of the research tour with a full description of the Oceanographical features of Banderas Bay and Puerto Vallarta that correlate with the Sea of Cortez. This tour can also be customized to include diving, snorkeling, a visit to the Marietas Islands or to the Los Arcos Rock formation as the geological setting and origin of Banderas Bay are described. There is the opportunity to observe exotic birds such as the Blue Footed booby birds, Frigate birds, pelicans and more on this tour.
