VALLARTA - NAYARIT | Live It To Believe It (FideturPVR)

Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit will visit Portland, Langley, Seattle, and Vancover to promote the region under the umbrella of the campaign "Live It to Believe It!" headed by the CPTM.

As part of the effort of Team Project, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarita will go on a promotion tour between the 23rd and 26th of September, with the objective of attracting a greater quantity of tourists from that region. The tour, part of the promotional campaign headed up by the Counsel of Touristic Promotion of Mexico (CPTM), and under the heading "Vallarta-Nayarit Live It to Believe It," will visit the cities of Portland, Langley, Seattle and Vancouver.

"We will go with the leading travel agents in each of these cities, offering presentations where each destination will show its attractions, (and) the novelties that are in the region for tourists. We also offer interviews to important communication mediums, explained Guillermo Ohem, director of the Fidecomiso of Tourism of Puerto Vallarta.

In all, during the presentations the plan is to arrive with an important number of tourist agents and with the general audience by means of interviews through leaders of local tourist attractions, with which to reinforce the efforts that are already being realized in conjuction with airlines to increase the quantity of tourists.
 
"We have already gone forward with the Vallarta-Nayarit campaign, and have succeeded in increasing the number of flights to this destination. Now, the promotional efforts we are making are to encourage tourists to board these new flights, and to come to visit us and have an extraordinary time. In this way, we will have more tourism and a better economy for everyone," concluded Marc Murphy, director of the Office of Visitors and Conventions of Riviera Nayarit.
