| Registration Opens to Provide Mobility Equipment to Disabled Citizens of Vallarta Team Angels - AZ Noticias | |

The International Push Foundation, in coordination with the Municipal DIF and the Rotary Club South of Puerto Vallarta, has successfully delivered mobility equipment to 112 citizens and is preparing the next delivery scheduled for early next year.
It was during the training sessions by DIF for the initial delivery of mobility equipment that Jeff Lair, Director of the International Push Foundation, announced that registration is now open for the next round of deliveries.
Needed equipment includes wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, braces and canes to be supplied by the Municipal DIF through the Municipal Council for Disability (Comudis) and Comprehensive Care Program Disability (PAID).
For equipment request documents to be submitted, interested parties may communicate by telephone at (322) 225-9936, or visit the Comudis office located at Paseo de las Palmas 105, in the former Regional Hospital, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Civil partnerships will perform appropriate medical and socio-economic studies in determining citizens in a vulnerable condition and needing the equipment. Support will also be determined for those registered with Pasitos de Luz, Rehabilitation Clinic Vallarta-Santa Barbara, PAID, Comudis, DIVAC, among others.
Alonso Bravo Amaral, Director of Comudis, thanked the support received from the International Push Foundation and stressed that they will continue the work to ensure that devices and services are granted to people who truly need them.
During his visit, Jeff Lair had the opportunity to share the experience he had in traveling from Seattle to Puerto Vallarta, and regretted that there are still some places which do not have conditions necessary for persons with disabilities. But, he added, our aim is working with the people with disabilities and to help in solving their problems.
