It's not too late to sign up for the extensive crocodile workshop taking place in San Blas, Nayarit, on September 18-21, 2013.

If you have interest in crocodiles, we invite you to join Estero el Salado, our ecologically protected area of Puerto Vallarta, as we travel up to San Blas for this intensive workshop.

The course is open to the general public including students and seniors whether you are experienced with crocodiles or not.

Increase your knowledge about the management, biology, general & particular characteristics, reproduction, development, interaction, and handling of crocodiles in their natural habitat or in captivity.

Choose from three options available for the workshop:

• September 18 only, 450 pesos. Includes commemorative poster, participation badge, recognition of participation and coffee break.

• September 19-21, 3,200 pesos. Includes commemorative poster, participation badge, recognition of participation, commemorative t-shirt, field formats, course CD, boat transfer to Tovara, San Blas boat, box lunch, coffee breaks, meals at the National Fisheries Engineering School (ENIP), transfers from hotel to ENIP & crocodile farms, and access to all equipment necessary for field studies.

• September 18-21, 3,650 pesos. Includes all of the above plus the extra opening day.

Learn from crocodile specialists such as Helios Hernández Hurtado, Jerónimo Domínguez Laso, Pablo S. Hernández Hurtado, Jesús Romero Villaruel, Daniel Robles Macedo and Salvador Rosales with the inauguration conference by Dr. Juan Luis Cifuentes Lemus.

Workshop locations in San Blas include the National School of Fisheries Engineering (Escuela Nacional de Ingenieria Pesquera) and Crocodile KIEKARI in La Tovara.
