The Vallarta Institute of Culture (IVC) in their efforts to support local talent, has initiated the program with local rock band Los Monda Vallarta in sending them "on the road" to different cities of the republic for the creation of "an interesting documentary that talks about their work and in touting the name of Puerto Vallarta in the country," stressed the head of the Institute, Sergio Zepeda.
Sergio Zepeda Moreno, Director of the IVC, reported that the project has completed its first phase and the rock band returned to Puerto Vallarta, having traveled through the cities of Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi, Rio Verde, León, Morelia, the municipality of Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico City and Coyoacan.
The project will be completed in the next two months, at which time the documentary will be released and presented to the public in this city, especially the musical environment of the locality.
Los Monda Vallarta is a band created just over three years ago with Giovanni Rodriguez, Oscar Soltero and 6 other members.
The documentary tells of the band's experiences during the long journey and the public response in each of their concerts, the complicated travel, little sleep, and other surprises offered by this type of project.
