Free Literary Concert by Efrain Bartolome at Le Leche Vallarta Vallarta Opina

The poet Efraín Bartolomé will be in Puerto Vallarta presenting a literary concert on Thursday, August 15, at 7:30 pm, upstairs at Le Leche Restaurant.

This will be a great cultural event where locals and tourists are welcome and admission is free.

Efrain Bartolome, Mexican poet, was born in Ocosingo, Chiapas in 1950.

Since his first publication in 1982, he has received numerous awards including the National Poetry Prize Aguascalientes, the National Poetry Prize Carlos Pellicer, Carlos Owen Literature, Poetry International Jaime Sabines, among others.

He studied psychology and psychotherapy and currently serves as a form of poetic practice.

In his books, such as Eye of the Jaguar, he recognizes a rigor that is rare in Mexican poetry, as well as the revaluation of feeling: poetry is the vehicle of emotions, and what is not emotion to create commotion does not move the poetry forward.
