On Friday, August 9, 2013, Teatro Vallarta is proud to present Erika and Vick del Real Alvarado, the brother and sister duo also known as Arcano.

Erika and Vick are well known around Puerto Vallarta and many of you may have been lucky enough to enjoy their music along the Malecon and throughout the city.

Born in Tepic, Nayarit, the siblings began their musical studies at 6 and 8 years of age at the J. Sebastian Bach School. In 1995, they were part of the Alica Childrens and Youth Foundation Orchestra.

They later joined the Nayarit Chamber Orchestra performing concerts in Mexico and also at the Palace of Fine Arts, then part of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Vancouver in Canada.

Erika on violin and Vick on the synthesizer have achieved a unique sound resulting from a fusion of acoustic and electro sounds. In each of their albums, you’ll find a harmonious blend of different genres and styles that will astonish you.

Among their hits is "Vallarta Summer" dedicated to Puerto Vallarta, the city that helped to get them known. Their ability to convey emotions through their music is simply exquisite, including their beautiful album in tribute to the Beatles.

Erika and Vick will grace the Teatro Vallarta stage on August 9 at 9:00 pm.
