Odiseo Bichir Visits Puerto Vallarta to Teach Acting Workshop Union Jalisco

The Ministry of Culture in Jalisco has issued a statement that actor Odiseo Bichir will be participating in an acting workshop in Puerto Vallarta from July 20-31.

The workshop, "Turisteando en Corto" prepared by Eureka Art and Production, will include the special guest instructions by Odiseo Bichir.

Odiseo Bichir is very well-known in Mexico for soap operas (novelas), series and films.

This initiative by local artists aims to provide an alternative for those who want a deeper understanding in the art of  acting to those already in the industry as well as those who have never had any contact with this medium, since they will be introduced to new concepts in both cases.

The course will have two groups, one which will meet on the weekends and the other will be held on weekdays during the last week of July.

Both groups will work together in the closing ceremony.

A first session will concentrate on how an actor should prepare for an audition, practice sessions, and how the presentation should be made to the principal or director.

A second session will be live action in front of the camera, which will serve as the final product of what they learned in the workshop.

Other issues to be addressed will be focused on the area of comedy and topics that will be taught by members of the company "Pata de Perro," including tips on acting in front of the camera by Alberto Sosa and vocal technique given by Adriana Millan.
