Check Out Our Kites!

Look, up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's a KITE! A glorious kite, like the one you loved as a kid, flying high up in the San Pancho skies. The colorful art that is created above the sand and sea attracts the birds who swarm, follow and dive around them making it a storybook beach scene. This is a scene that will be part of the fabric of the San Pancho culture this season and hopefully for time beyond that.

The San Pancho Aire kites are designed, and detailed sewn by local residents. There are five designs at present, all pre-tested for flying abilities, and are built with imported rip stop nylon, light weight hollow fiberglass tubing for all spars, and brass grommets. The kites are packaged in burlap bags for ease of transport with leather tags to identify the style and colors.

So when you return to San Pancho this year, be sure to look up in the sky, then follow the single line down to the hands of someone who will hand one over to you to try and rediscover one of the simple pleasures of life. What's not to love about that?
