Christmas + La Cruz = Philo's + Kids + Santa
In what has become an annual Christmas tradition for Amigos de La Cruz, Philo's held their potluck turkey dinner night and the turnout was overflow.
What makes this a real La Cruz event is what happens after dinner when hundreds of local children lined up and patiently waited to receive gifts from Santa Claus.
Judging from the smiles and laughter, none of the kids were disappointed.
This annual event is preceded by two very important things: Hundreds of visitors to La Cruz donating gifts to Philo to help Santa, and dozens of enthusiastic volunteers who helped wrap the gifts for Santa last week.
Many heartfelt thanks go out to everyone, most especially Philo Hayward, who has made this the lovely tradition it has become.
