Puerto Vallarta Eyed as Possible 2015 Venue for Routes Americas VisitPV

Executives from the Routes Americas 2015 organizing committee were in Puerto Vallarta for three days last week making inspection visits around the city, in view of it becoming a candidate for their convention in two years.

They visited the International Convention Center, Port Authority (API) and Arches of the Malecón, as well as hotels that would be adequate for an event such as this. Upon inspection, they discovered that Puerto Vallarta would, indeed, be an excellent host city, as it has superb facilities and has been the venue for a number of important affairs prior to this. They agreed to add Puerto Vallarta to the list of candidates for the event.

Routes Americas 2015 seeks to evaluate the development of the approach to air services and partnerships with the airlines. If Puerto Vallarta is chosen as the host city, the event would most likely take place in February of 2015, and would bring representatives from 75 airlines and 170 airports, as well as 450 delegates to our city. It would undoubtedly result in the negotiation of the increase in flights to Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport.
