Third Round of the Pacific Paddle SUP Race Series and Bucerias Classic Cat - All Bucerias

Bucerias is the location on the Riviera Nayarit where Round #3 of the Pacific Paddle SUP Race Series and the Bucerias Classic 2013 is going to take place.

It all happens on May 4th and 5th and is sure to be full of excitement as there are three exciting disciplines competing. Stand Up Paddle, Windsurfing and Kiteboarding pros bring it to the table.

The Categories will be by age group with registration beginning at 9:00 am on May 4. There is the chance for a brand new 2013 Starboard Paddleboard!

The Bucerias Classic has been dubbed the "Battle of Bucerias." This year's event will attract top athletes from the Riviera Nayarit, Jalisco and Mexico. The wonderful location of Banderas Bay provides a spectacular arena for this monumental water sports extravaganza. In addition, Bucerias is known for windy conditions creating the perfect place for the Bucerias Classic.

During the Bucerias Classic, Pacific Paddle will have Stand UP Paddle demos; there will also be clinics along with fun races for the entire family.  It's a fun opportunity to experience SUP in Bucerias for your first time. You will be surprised just how easy it is!

Saturday
9:00 am - Registration opens
10:30 am - Stand Up Paddle Fun Race – for beginners
11:00 am - Stand Up Paddle Elite race – Run and Paddle
1:30 pm - Kite & Windsurf Races - Course racing 4 races
3:30 pm - Stand Up Paddle – Down-wind Race – La Cruz Marina to Bucerias

Sunday
10:00 am - Stand Up Paddle Distance Race – 10km
11:00 am - Stand Up Paddle Relay Race – Teams of 4
1:30 pm - Kite & Windsurf Races - Course racing 4 races
4:30 pm - Awards presentation

The host venue Casa Blanca is located on Calle Galleana in Bucerias just down from Marks Bar & Grill (2 blocks from Pacific Paddle) that will provide spectators with great views of the race action.

Pacific Paddle, a fun Bucerias surf shop, has lessons for SUP, Kiteboarding and Windsurfing! Jet ski rentals and boating and boat surfing are other fun activities that Pacific Paddle offers.
