What started out as a mutual effort between local business owner (PV Sailing) and sailing enthusiast Mike Danielson and restaurant owner Angel Rivas (Oso’s Oyster Bar) will culminate in a celebration of El Día de los Niños (Children’s Day) on Monday April 29th.

While the 30th is the official El Día de los Niños, Mike & Angel will have a special breakfast for the children of the local Escuela Primaria (Primary School) featuring pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and chocolate milk at Oso’s at the Mercado del Mar.

Following the breakfast, gifts will be presented to the kids.

The gifts are thanks to the ongoing collection drive happening at Oso’s that started with Mike’s birthday party last week for which he requested that all guests please bring a game or toy for the kids.

This effort continues as Oso’s offers a special 150 peso meal for anyone who brings in a gift for the kids. The special meal includes a Caesar Salad, Fresh Catch of the Day Fish Filet w/Shrimp al Pastor, Flan and a glass of wine or a beer.

So go buy a nice gift for the kids and bring it in to Oso’s to take advantage of this special deal and help the kids celebrate El Día de los Niños.

In addition to the delicious food, Oso's Oyster Bar has great live entertainment and is located at the Mercado del Mar, La Cruz Marina, in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Riviera Nayarit.
