From Ty Diffin, InsideLaCruz... I am publishing a letter I received from one of the most devoted creator/operator of a non-profit conservation project that I have met. I met Frank 14 years ago when I first moved to the area... where he had already been running the sea turtle conservation project for years, dedicating at least 6 months of each year to prepping, operating, and evaluating a sea turtle nursery in San Pancho and the surrounding beaches... and very successfully I might add. It reads:

Our window of opportunity to raise funds to support our program of marine turtle protection and education has all but closed with the arrival of summer. Unfortunately our efforts to raise funds fall critically short of its goal.
The shortfall today is due to unforeseen extensors last season, such as damage from hurricane waves, termites and a vehicle fire. We have repaired the damage but need your help now.
If you would like to help us, we have T-shirts and Homeowners Directories for sale at my house and for those who left San Pancho, or live elsewhere, we would happy to receive donations by PayPal or by mail.
