The 2013 edition of the "Festival Nacional de Danza Folclórica en Puerto Vallarta" will be held in various venues throughout the city from April 25 until April 28.
Organized by Consejo Internacional de Organizadores de Festivales Folclóricos (CIOFF), there will be twelve dance groups from eleven Mexico states.
All events are free and open to the public.
A Grand Parade will kick off the festivities on Thursday, April 25, starting in Downtown Vallarta at Ley's Supermarket and continuing down the Malecon to Los Arcos Amphitheater, where the Opening Ceremony will begin around 8:00 pm. You will be entertained by the three folkloric ballet groups of Municipal de Tomatlan, Potosino Ollin Cuauhtli and Gustavo Vaquera.
Following is the complete schedule for this year's festivities. Performances in Puerto Vallarta will begin at 8:00 pm and in other locations at 7:00 pm.
