Children's Day Brunch Fundraiser at Coco's Kitchen Chris Amo - PVM City Paper

Come join us in celebrating the Day of the Children on Tuesday, April 30th, while enjoying a wonderful brunch at Coco's Kitchen from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm and help Sendero de Esperanza y Amor (SEA), a new "home" which has recently opened for teenage girls here in Puerto Vallarta.
 
This innovative non-profit shelter offers a smaller, family-like environment filled with hope and love for teens who
have been abused, abandoned, or were living in extreme poverty. SEA was created for the older children living at the RISE shelter.

The girls living at SEA are now experiencing how strong families can function with consistent expectations and values.
 
Coco is preparing a delicious brunch treat, with your choice of three entrees:
 
• Coco’s Famous Chicken Caesar Salad

• The huge Grand Green Burrito stuffed with pork in tomatillo sauce
 
• Amazing Chicken Mole Enchiladas

Also included is a dessert of Apple Pie a la Mode or Homemade Flan plus White or Red Sangria, Passion Fruit Lemonade or Coffee.

All of this, plus a raffle and more, is available for the ticket price of 200 pesos with half of the proceeds
going to SEA.
 
In addition, please help us to fill the empty pantry at SEA by bringing food donations – a bag of beans or rice, canned sauces or meats, pastas – anything to help fill the tummies of these hungry teens!!
 
Other immediate needs at SEA are: a sofa and some area rugs, a computer, school supplies and backpacks, fans, dressers, stools, a TV, and clothes hangers.
