Puerto Vallarta is Finalist in the 2013 About.com Readers' Choice Awards Jorge Chavez - Visit Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta has been nominated by the readers of About.com in a few categories and is among the finalists in the 2013 About.com Readers' Choice Awards for Mexico Travel.

Puerto Vallarta is a finalist for “Favorite Beach Destination” as well as “Favorite Spring Break Destination”, and the Puerto Vallarta Malecon is a finalist for “Favorite Mexico Attraction.”

A few hotels in Puerto Vallarta have also received nods. Hacienda San Angel is nominated for “Favorite Luxury Hotel,” and Dreams Puerto Vallarta is a finalist for “Favorite All-Inclusive in Mexico”.

Nominations were submitted by the readers of About.com from January 14th through February 11th, 2013, for ten Mexico Travel award categories.

The top five nominees in each category will be put to a vote from now through March 19th, 2013. Readers are allowed to vote once a day during the voting period. Get the word out to your network to cast votes.

Voters are required to give their email address or be logged-in to Facebook or About.com before casting their votes. This requirement assures a fair contest for all the finalists.

There is no prize for winning except for a WINNER badge that can be displayed proudly on the official website or blog, and the recognition of being chosen as the very BEST by About.com readers.
