On Sunday, March 3, Puerto Vallarta will host the Monster Truck event, which in addition to the fun of the sport, the event will benefit our children with Cerebral Palsy at Project Pitillal, Busca un Amigo (Reach Out to a Friend).

These "Monster Trucks" are modified vehicles that perform stunts and acrobatics. There will also be contests of body paint, bikini contest, motorcycles, hip-hop, low-riders and much more.

Oscar Padilla, the event promotor and organizer, will have the backing of the Puerto Vallarta City Council.

In addition to all the action, this occasion supports the 38 children at Project Pitillal, an institution that gives therapy to disabled children of poor families, resulting in their integration into society.

"Project Pitillal also provides special attention, nutritious food, physical rehabilitation, medical specialists, occupational therapy services and language," states Mariana Chavarin, Therapist, thanking the organizers for all their support.

Juan Rincón, of the Municipal Council of Sports, thanks the Municipal President Ramón Guerrero for not only the invitation to get involved in this project combining this extreme and exciting sport and at the same time supporting our less fortunate children of Puerto Vallarta.

The event will be held at Armando Villaseñor Esplanade in Las Mojoneras, from 3:00 to 8:30 pm at a cost of 100 pesos in pre-sales and 150 pesos for adults or 130 pesos for children on the day of the event.

The Armando Villaseñor Esplanade arena is located in Las Mojoneras Colony in the Ixtapa-Pitillal area, inland from Marina Vallarta.
