The number of services that Los Mangos Library in Puerto Vallarta provides in its community every year is impressive.
Los Mangos Library depends basically on donations from people like you. These days, the library doesn't receive benefits, sponsorships or any kind of help to cover its operation, equipment and maintenance expenses. Each peso that is necessary to maintain the Library must be funded and is spent clearly and judgingly.
We need your help. Contribute to the library and feel the pride of giving your community a space where thousands of children, teenagers and adults find answers to broaden their opportunities and enrich their lives through culture.
You can help in hundreds of ways; the most important step is to take action!
Donations in cash or projects you can fund
Join the Friends of the Library: Donate from 200 to 1000 pesos monthly during a year. You can do it online or call us and we will pick up.
Fund a scholarship for a boy or girl in our summer camps: 25% of the attendees to summer camp are boys and girls from orphanages, shelters or in a situation of poverty. You may give them a unique experience during 4 weeks. Get to know our summer camps at Los Mangos Library.
Adopt one of our main projects: Invite your family, friends, neighbors, workmates, partners etc. Choose a project, adopt it and help us maintain our facilities, update our equipment, among others, these today are our main needs:
• Automating our catalog search
• Mayor fumigation
• New computers for the digital module for free service to users
• New chairs for our reading room
• Lighting and acoustics for the Benefactors Hall
• Ceiling repair work in the reading room and lounges
• Waterproofing the building
• Donations in kind
It is always useful to receive:
• Stationery supplies such as white board markers, white bond letter size paper and printer ink.
• Multifunction printers in good condition and working 100%
• Desktops in perfect condition and working 100%
• Projectors, screens, shutters and general audiovisual equipment
• Lights and fans
• White Paint
• Tables and folding chairs
