Humberto Moreira, former governor of Coahuila, has demanded that Forbes remove his name from the list of “The 10 most corrupt in Mexico 2013”. He is listed at number seven.

Through the firm of “Christian F. Zinser Cieslik and Associates,” the former state governor sent a letter asking to withdraw publication and to publish an immediate public apology.

In defense of Moreira, the letter claims that the research article is false, defamatory and malicious based.  Besides listing Forbes, they also name the journalist Dolia Estevez, author of the list, for the damage that the information published may cause.
