Father Alejandro Solalinde: "I am worried because there is trafficking of children. I am worried because there is trafficking of organs; yes there is." (Quintanar)

Father Alejandro Solalinde, the director of the Brothers on the Way shelter [in Oaxaca], criticized Mexican government policy towards migrants this morning. According to the bishop, Mexico is a state that is servile to the north - towards the United States - and an "asshole" below, towards its Central American brothers, whom it sells "in parts, living or dead."

In an interview with Brozo, in the The Morning Person program broadcast on Foro TV, Solalinde said that "We have dehumanized ourselves. Mexico is a servile country towards the north, nobody moves there. And we are also misunderstood, because the U.S. does not ask us to walk over human rights. But instead, towards those below, we are assholes. It's an asshole state with our brothers from Central America."

The human rights defender said that walls and Mexico's persecutory policy towards migrants are not the solution.
