New alcohol checkpoints in Guadalajara will begin operating on November 15, a state government spokesman announced recently. Francisco Javier Poe Morales, traffic commissioner for the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, said that the city operates a zero tolerance policy for drinking and driving.
