The plenary session of Mexico's House of Representatives adopted a point of agreement to reject the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government on Cuba.
In a resolution signed by all parliamentary groups, the House also respectfully urged the federal government to instruct the Mexican representation in the UN General Assembly, to promote the end of the blockade.
The document, which was adopted without discussion, was proposed by the Mexico-Cuba Friendship Group.
