Forbes Magazine releases several lists each year that reveal who are the richest, most influential and the most powerful people in the world. The magazine has just released its list of the fifty most powerful women in Mexico.
The women on the list chosen by Forbes fit into seven categories, including millionaires, business women, lifestyle, media, activists, political and technology. In the entertainment category, Forbes names Salma Hayek the number eleventh most powerful women in Mexico. Paulina Rubio is not far behind with the number twenty-two spot on the list. Mexico's former first lady Margarita Zavala comes in at number fifteen, which puts her thirteen spots ahead of the current First Lady, Angelica Rivera.
