If you were riveted by Seasons 1 and 2 of HBO Latino's prison drama, "Capadocia," Season 3 won't disappoint.
Set in a women's prison of the same name in Mexico City, the series returned Sept. 27 with the unapologetically realistic dialogue, powerful and impeccably interwoven backstories, ardent sex, hardcore drug use and violence that made it must-see TV in Latin America.
Joining leading cast members Ana de la Reguera, Cecilia Suarez, Dolores Heredia and Juan Manuel Bernal this season are Gabriela de la Garza and Miguel Angel Muñoz.
De la Garza and Munoz - of Mexico and Spain, respectively - portray former paramours Italia Meneces and Hector Bolanos, intelligence agents who are tasked with bringing down a cloak-and-dagger, quasi-Nazi sect known as La Cofradía (The Brotherhood).
The season kicks off with an episode inspired by one of Mexico's most horrific incidents in recent memory.
