Mexico's Tlatelolco Massacre 45 Year Anniversary March Met with Police Repression (TheRealNews)

The arrests following the disturbances that took place on October 2 at the periphery of a massive peaceful march have resulted in criminal charges against 19 of those arrested, nine were taken to prisons and bail of 130 thousand pesos [$9,900US] was set for them be freed.

This is the latest episode in a saga marked from the beginning by irregularities, abuses, injustices and dark spots that could represent a new case of fabrication of guilt, as happened in the Mexico City following the violence that took place on December 1 of last year and this past September 13.

No doubt at that time, as well as last Wednesday, there were acts of vandalism against public and private property and unjustifiable attacks against police. However, in the two previous occasions it could be demonstrated, based on video documentation, that in many cases those arrested were not involved in the crimes for which they were charged, police forces misrepresented fundamental data such as location and circumstances the arrests, and that arrests were made in ways that violate the fundamental rights of the accused.
