MEXICO CITY – Only one out of every four Mexicans has participated in a protest, a recent poll by the Strategic Communication Committee (GCE) has revealed.

The poll, conducted by telephone to 800 households around the country last week, showed that 76.2 percent of responders have never participated in a protest march, while 23.8 percent had.

.. Those respondees who said they would participate in a march said they would do so for issues like unemployment, rising prices or taxes, water or electricity supply problems, corruption scandals and violence.
