MEXICO CITY – Alfonso Cuaron's space thriller Gravity will open the Morelia International Film Festival in October, marking its Mexico debut.
Gravity had its world premiere at the Venice Film Vestival last week with stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney in attendance. The Warner Bros. release will also bow at the Toronto Film Festival before making its way down south to Mexico.
The premiere at Morelia, a top-tier Mexican film fest, is a homecoming of sorts for Mexican director Cuaron (Children of Men), who co-wrote Gravity with his son, Jonas.
