Mexico - Chile Womens' Homeless World Cup Final (HomelessWorldCup)

A bubbling atmosphere saw the 2012 hosts and the 2014 hosts meet on Pitch 1 to decide the Women's Homeless World Cup final.

The two teams had faced each other in the group stages with Chile earning the victory after a very close match. Both teams have a similar style; very organised in defence and disciplined in their offensive strategy.

In the end, Mexico proved too strong and the game finished 4-1. The devastated Chilean team fell to the ground in disbelief and tears at the final whistle but their efforts this week will see a formidable host nation next year in Santiago.

The large contingent of Mexico fans were in raptures as their women's team lifted the Women's Homeless World Cup trophy, donated by the Polish president.

In the men's competition, Brazil took on Mexico in Sunday's Homeless World Cup final. With the two teams evenly matched in skill and dedication, it was bound to be an exciting affair and it did not disappoint. In front of a capacity crowd, Brazil denied Mexico the double and were crowned 2013 champions.
